Playreading is up and running!
We met on November 8 and were able to narrow our reading list to a manageable number of plays and musicals! Our thanks to everyone who sent in their suggestions. We’ll be meeting again in December and January to pare the list down even further — stay tuned.

Janet Hoehl, the Board Hospitality chair, is now forming a committee of eager volunteers to handle front of house for the remainder of the season.
Duties include:
Setting up the refreshments and drinks for intermission.
Handing out programs to the audience members.
Helping to seat any patrons with special needs.
Helping to serve refreshments during intermission and to clean up afterwards.

Renee Schulz and Hal Holzer are pleased to announce that the first meeting of the 2010-2011 Playreading Committee will be held on Sunday October 25th from 5-7 PM at the theatre. The committee is open to all members of the Forge Theatre community — the more, the merrier! Bring your ideas and your scripts (if you care to lend them out — be sure to put your name on them if you want them back) to the meeting as we begin the process of selecting NEXT season’s productions!
Do you have a favorite show or shows that you’d like the committee to consider, but not the available time to read and attend meetings? Send us your suggestions! Any member may submit plays for consideration even if they are not on the committee.
