This contemporary classic gets a makeover in the female version of the familiar story. Newly separated from her husband, obsessive compulsive Florence Unger decides to move into the home of slovenly single divorcee friend Olive Madison. When their worlds collide, the story explodes in this laugh-out-loud comedy that takes a look at life from a different point of view.

This show marks Forge Theatre’s 250th production!

A literary love affair between an American writer and an Englishman who works for a London book shop. spanning 20 years from 1949-1969. Though events in the play are set against a canvas of the dramatic post-war changes taking place during that time, the true story is of two people, separated by an ocean, who come to value and eagerly anticipate each others letters, and who long to meet.
